This was an easy project done using jQuery to fetch the photo stream form Flickr.

Browse and copy photos in your thumb drive from your iPad
Using the iPad camera connection kit, you can connect your USB thumb drive to your iPad.
Now before connecting, make a directory in your thumb drive by the name “DCIM” then copy any of the images you want to copy to your iPad.
When the USB thumb drive is connected to the iPad. It will detect that folder and show you all the pics. Now select all the images and copy them to your iPad.

All the picture are taken from my Flickr photo stream. It does nothing much, I just figured out my own scripting to slide the images back and forth.
